A Prayer About Taking Responsibility

When the burden is on me

GOD,

When I am given an assignment, a task to accomplish, I want to do it well. Rather than make excuses or say it’s someone else’s responsibility, I need to step up to the challenge. Help me see each task as an opportunity to glorify you. And when I fail, give me the courage to admit what I did and take full responsibility for my actions.

A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them. Matthew 24:45
