A Prayer About Sleeping Well

When I need a restful night

DEAR LORD,

I’m tired. It’s been a long, tough day, and I need a good night’s sleep, especially considering what’s on the schedule for tomorrow. Help me to relax and rest in you, Father, secure in the knowledge that you are watching over me. Keep me from sleep-depriving concerns, worries, and other negative thoughts. Help me focus my thoughts on your goodness and the joy and hope you give me.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! Isaiah 26:3
