A Prayer About Remembrance

A prayer about Remembrance

When I consider the Cross

SAVIOR,

I do think about you, your broken body and shed blood, each time I take the bread and wine of Communion. But I also need to remember your sacrifice in my daily life: relationships, work, struggles, and joys. Because of the Cross, my sins are forgiven. Because of you, I have hope and eternal life. Praise your name!

He took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me.” Luke 22:19
