A Prayer About Loyalty

When I evaluate my relationships

HEAVENLY FATHER,

I am intensely loyal to those I love and will defend them against all sorts of attacks. I know, however, that loyalty can sometimes blind me to faults. So please temper my loyalty with openness and honesty. When sharing truth is necessary, help me be kind, speaking with love.

Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation. Proverbs 3:3-4
