A Prayer About Legacy

When I ponder what I will leave behind

JESUS,

Please show me how to build into the next generation. I want to leave a legacy of faith. This begins at my relationship with you; show me how I should live so others will see you in me. Give me opportunities to mentor younger believers. This task is for all who name you, including me.

You must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Deuteronomy 6:6-7
