When I am weak
ALMIGHTY GOD,
As a small child I remember singing “Jesus Loves Me” and the familiar refrain, “They are weak, but he is strong.” For a while, I resonated with that verse because “little ones” are, in fact, quite weak. But now I know that all of us—regardless of age, maturity, or status—are weak. I am nothing without you and can do nothing at all on my own. But you are strong, and you promise to empower those who rely on you. I need you. Help!
God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. Psalm 18:32
