A Prayer About Change

When I sense hardness in my heart

FATHER GOD,

You gave a powerful promise, through your prophet Ezekiel, to change the hearts of your people. Even when we live our own way, you don’t give up on us. You love us, transform us, and guide us home. Thank you, Lord, for not giving up on me. O Father, forgive me for having a divided and hard heart. Change me on the inside, conforming me to the image of your dear Son.

I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their stony, stubborn heart and give them a tender, responsive heart. Ezekiel 11:19
