Hope For A New Vision

Hope for a New Vision

People who need glasses don’t always realize they need glasses. But then one day they go in for a routine eye exam and are told that their vision is impaired. They don’t see as well as they thought they did.

Then they put on glasses and see the difference. They never realized how much they were straining to see. The world is so much clearer!

Shifting your focus to hope for what is right is like putting on new glasses. Hope can purify the cynicism in your bones and help you see that not everything around you is going to hell in a handbasket. It can reveal light in the world that you may have missed. It can show you the source of that light—God Himself.

If all you see in the world is what’s wrong with it, consider the possibility that your vision isn’t is great as you think it is. Try on the glasses of hope, and you’ll be amazed by what you see.

“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”

Matthew 5:8
