If a person’s spouse dies, is it all right to marry again?

1 Corinthians 7:39A wife is bound to her husband as long as he lives. If her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but only if he loves the Lord.

Marriage is a lifetime commitment. When a spouse dies, the marriage contract is over. The grieving process will take some time, but when the surviving spouse is ready, he or she is free to marry again.
