Some say that everything in moderation is okay. Can’t that apply to drugs, too?

2 Peter 2:19They promise freedom, but they themselves are slaves of sin and corruption. For you are a slave to whatever controls you.

Whatever has control over you is your master. If God is your master, he will raise you up and encourage you, but an addictive drug will only tear you down and make you a slave to its power. Some things are not good for you, even in moderation. Even a little sin is deadly.
