To whom should I complain?
Numbers 11:10-11Moses said to the Lord, “Why are you treating me, your servant, so harshly? Have mercy on me! What did I do to deserve the burden of all these people?”
Romans 11:2-4Elijah the prophet complained to God about the people of Israel and said, “Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me, too.” And do you remember God’s reply? He said, “No, I have 7,000 others who have never bowed down to Baal!”
When the Israelites complained to each other, it accomplished nothing. Moses and Elijah took their frustrations to God, who can solve any problem. Taking your complaints to God often changes your perspective. Learn to take your problems to the one who can do something about them.
