Memorize, Remember, And Treasure
Memorize, Remember, And Treasure
He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.
Ephesians 1:5
The Bible is full of strong defensive weapons that you can carry with you and use any time, any day—especially when the Enemy or the culture around you tries to tell you what you are or what you are not. That’s the perfect time to remind yourself of these absolute truths:
• I am adopted (Ephesians 1:5).
• I am accepted (Ephesians 1:6).
• I am forgiven (Ephesians 4:32).
• I am predestined (Ephesians 1:11).
• I am raised and seated in heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6).
• I am created for good works (Ephesians 2:10).
• I am called to eternal glory (1 Peter 5:10).
• I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
• I am an overcomer (John 16:33).
• I am never forsaken (Hebrews 13:5).
I can’t emphasize it enough: memorize, remember, and treasure these promises. Then when you need to remember who you are, you’ll have the solid rock of God’s Word to stand on.
God, You make so many victories possible for me. Thank You for making me who I am!
