Part 3: Restoration With A Teenager

I want to always point you to Christ and the love, mercy, kindness, and great favor He bestows on you. I don’t ever want to discourage you with my words, tone, expectations, or the quality of the example I set for you.

I am asking God to change me as only He can—to help me be more patient with an offense and to overlook those I should. Oh, being detailed and creative (you are the same way!) can feel a bit like a curse. But with every strength comes a weakness. Mine is very evident, and I wish it was more hidden! (I tell Daddy his flaws are more hidden, while mine are more “out there” for all the world to see.)

I could not be more grateful to the Giver of all life for giving you to me. You fill my heart every day, and I long for God’s best for you in every way. I am so proud of you, and by the time you get this, your full week will be over!
