Whole Heart

Whole Heart

Can I trust God enough to give him my whole heart?

God’s Response

I am the LORD, and I do not change. Malachi 3:6

Whatever is good and perfect comes to us from God above. . . . He never changes or casts shifting shadows. In his goodness he chose to make us his own children by giving us his true word. James 1:17-18

God is not a man, that he should lie. He is not a human, that he should change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? Numbers 23:19

We trust only those who are dependable and can be counted on to always tell the truth. As the creator, God is the source of truth, and therefore he cannot lie. You must believe that in order to believe the following statement: Because God cannot lie, everything he says in the Bible is true. If it were not true, we could not fully trust God. Keep reading your Bible. Find God’s promises to you. Discover how much he loves you and wants a close, daily relationship with you. When you trust him with your whole heart, he will make himself known to you in amazing and powerful ways.

God’s Promise

The Lord is faithful; he will make you strong and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3
