Stress

Stress

I know I’m God’s child, so why do I feel so stressed out?

God’s Response

Jesus said, “Let’s get away from the crowds for a while and rest.” There were so many people coming and going that Jesus and his apostles didn’t even have time to eat. Mark 6:31

Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

Stress is a reality in life. Sometimes stress is good —it can motivate you to get going. At other times, stress is bad and can cause any number of mental and physical problems. If you’re feeling stressed out over the holiday season, you may need to take a breather or get away for a few hours. Refresh yourself with a nap, a little time spent on a hobby, an hour of meditation in your favorite chair, a chat with a friend, or time reading God’s Word.

God’s Promise

Don’t get tired of doing what is good. Don’t get discouraged and give up, for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time. Galatians 6:9
