Strength

What is the evidence of God’s strength? How strong is he?

God’s Response

You formed the mountains by your power and armed yourself with mighty strength. Psalm 65:6

Who else has held the oceans in his hand? Who has measured off the heavens with his fingers? Who else knows the weight of the earth or has weighed out the mountains and the hills? . . . “To whom will you compare me? Who is my equal?” asks the Holy One. Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out one after another, calling each by its name. And he counts them to see that none are lost or have strayed away. Isaiah 40:12, 25-26

The LORD opened up a path through the water with a strong east wind. The wind blew all that night, turning the seabed into dry land. Exodus 14:21

God’s mighty power is evident in creation. God created and sustains the universe. He has named every star. The great message of the Bible is that this awesome and almighty God who parted the waters of the sea offers you his strength each day. Will you accept it?

God’s Promise

The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a deer and bring me safely over the mountains. Habakkuk 3:19
