Resurrection

Resurrection

What does Jesus’ resurrection mean to me?

God’s Response

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Our earthly bodies, which die and decay, will be different when they are resurrected, for they will never die. 1 Corinthians 15:42

Faith in Jesus is meaningless if it does not last. Jesus’ resurrection was the essential aspect of God’s plan that allows you to spend eternity with him. Because Jesus was raised from the dead with a new body, you can be assured that he has the power over death and that you, too, will be resurrected one day with a new body and can live forever with him in heaven.

God’s Promise

There are many rooms in my Father’s home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. John 14:2-3
