How can I find peace within?

God’s Response

I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8

The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. Psalm 29:11

You are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. You surround me with songs of victory. Psalm 32:7

You can have inner peace in spite of your circumstances when you fully trust that God is watching over your soul. God’s peace does not prevent us from encountering difficulties, but it gives us victory over them. God promises to give us eternal life in a perfect heaven, and he promises that Satan will not steal our souls away from him. When you have total confidence in these two things, then no matter what happens, you can have peace with God.
