How does faith in God affect my life?

God’s Response

Abram believed the LORD, and the LORD declared him righteous because of his faith. Genesis 15:6

God in his gracious kindness declares us not guilty. . . . We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his blood, sacrificing his life for us. Romans 3:24-25

Faith is your lifeline to God. Sin breaks your relationship with God because it is rebellion against him. When you accept Jesus as your Savior and ask him to forgive your sins, this simple act of faith makes you righteous in God’s sight. In other words, God looks at you as though you have never sinned. You can live free from guilt and confident of eternal life.

God’s Promise

God, in his mighty power, will protect you until you receive this salvation, because you are trusting him. It will be revealed on the last day for all to see. 1 Peter 1:5
