How can I bring God happiness?

God’s Response

The LORD your God will delight in you if you obey his voice and keep the commands and laws written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and soul. Deuteronomy 30:10

The LORD . . . delights in honesty . . . in those who have integrity. Proverbs 11:1, 20

The LORD . . . delights in the prayers of the upright. Proverbs 15:8

The LORD . . . delights in pure words. Proverbs 15:26

Like a father with his child, God is delighted when we love him with all our heart and soul. He loves it when we imitate his character with integrity, honesty, and purity of heart. When you obey God, it shows him that you love him enough to trust him with your life.

God’s Promise

The LORD your God has arrived to live among you. He is a mighty savior. He will rejoice over you with great gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will exult over you by singing a happy song. Zephaniah 3:17
