In what ways can I see God’s goodness?

God’s Response

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. . . . And God saw that it was good. Genesis 1:1, 4

Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever. Psalm 23:6

The LORD replied, “I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, ‘the LORD,’ to you. I will show kindness to anyone I choose, and I will show mercy to anyone I choose.” Exodus 33:19

God’s goodness can be seen in creation. He could have created a black-and-white world with no scents, sounds, or tastes, but out of his goodness came incredible beauty and variety. His goodness is also revealed in his kindness and unfailing love for you.

God’s Promise

The LORD is wonderfully good to those who wait for him and seek him. Lamentations 3:25
