Debt

I’ve made some bad financial decisions. Will God still help me deal with my debt?

God’s Response

Don’t worry about having enough food or drink or clothing. Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. Matthew 6:31-33

You will honor God by making a budget so that you live within your means and pay off your debt. God wants to help you be free of the burden of heavy debt because it makes you worry and distracts you from him. Ask God for wisdom. He knows your needs and will help you meet them if you are willing to make the necessary sacrifices.

God’s Promise

“Bring all the tithes into the storehouse. . . . If you do,” says the Lord Almighty, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Let me prove it to you!” Malachi 3:10
