Commitment

Commitment

Why is it so important to stay committed to Jesus —through the doubts and through the tough times?

God’s Response

Those who endure to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:13

Complete the ministry God has given you. . . . I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me —the crown of righteousness that the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that great day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his glorious return. 2 Timothy 4:5, 7-8

God’s promise is sure, and you must always keep your eyes on that. God never promised that life on earth would be easy, but he does promise to walk with you every step of the way and bring you into glory when he returns. Stay committed to Christ as he is committed to you. Keep serving him in whatever ways he asks. In the end, your obedience will be rewarded, and your reward will be beyond all expectation.

God’s Promise

All who are victorious will be clothed in white. I will never erase their names from the Book of Life. Revelation 3:5
