What kinds of blessings can I expect from God?

God’s Response

How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable! I can’t even count them. Psalm 139:17-18

May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace. Numbers 6:24-26

God’s blessings are everywhere, but we need spiritual eyes to see them as his gifts and not merely as luck or good fortune. His blessings come to you every day, in every conceivable form. Success and prosperity are usually not the most common blessings from God, for they tend to take our minds off of him. Rather, his presence, the beauty of creation, peace of heart, joy, spiritual gifts, family, friends, comfort, and hope are some of the best blessings he gives. The greatest blessing God wants to give is salvation and eternal life. We just need to ask for it.

Your goodness is so great! You have stored up great blessings for those who honor you. You have done so much for those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world. Psalm 31:19
