Worth A Son

Worth a Son

What am I worth? What is my value to God?

God’s Response

When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers . . . what are people that you should think about them, mere mortals that you should care for them? . . . You gave them charge of everything you made. Psalm 8:3-6

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:9-10

What makes something valuable? One way to determine value is to consider the price that was paid for it. Another measure of value is the uniqueness and purpose of the object. When God created you, he uniquely designed you for his purpose because he loves you and has a plan for you. God has paid the ultimate price for you in sending his Son to die for you! You are of immeasurable value to God. You are priceless.

This Is Promising

God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
