God’s Response
“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart.” . . .“O Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!”The LORD replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you.” Jeremiah 1:5-7
God created you for a purpose. It only makes sense that he should know what will satisfy the longings of your heart. You have a “say” in that you can follow God and do what he already knows will fulfill you and make a difference for his Kingdom, or you can choose to go your own way. How much better to seek God’s plan for you and follow it! Then you’ll be sure that your life will have meaning and you will accomplish what God created you to do.
