How can waiting make my faith stronger?

God’s Response

The LORD your God will drive those nations out ahead of you little by little. You will not clear them away all at once, otherwise the wild animals would multiply too quickly for you. Deuteronomy 7:22

There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now. John 16:12

When the right time came, God sent his Son. Galatians 4:4

God often asks you to wait while he leads you along the path of progressive, not immediate, victory. Why? Sometimes this keeps you from the pride that often comes after success. Sometimes it saves you from defeat. And sometimes God makes you wait to prepare you for a special work he has for you. Waiting time is never wasted by God, so don’t waste it by being anxious. Serve God as you wait for him to accomplish the next good thing in your life.

This Is Promising

Be still in the presence of the LORD and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. Psalm 37:7
