Unity In Diversity

Unity in Diversity

My Christian friends all go to different churches that worship in different ways. Is there a right or wrong way to worship?

God’s Response

Come, let us sing to the LORD! . . . Let us kneel before the LORD our maker. Psalm 95:1, 6

David danced before the LORD with all his might, wearing a priestly garment. 2 Samuel 6:14

Everything that is done must strengthen all of you. . . . For God is not a God of disorder but of peace. 1 Corinthians 14:26, 33

There’s as much variety in worship as there are churches in which to worship. Churches may include praise songs with drums, hymns accompanied by an organ, or skits and slide shows. At church you may kneel, stand, or even dance! God loves variety. Of the many different ways in which God’s people can express their worship, none is wrong as long as the focus is on God, and the attitude of the worshipers is loving and respectful. Then God is glorified.

This Is Promising

Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Psalm 66:4
