How is Jesus my counselor?

God’s Response

A child is born to us, a son is given to us. . . . And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor. Isaiah 9:6

True wisdom and power are found in God; counsel and understanding are his. Job 12:13

“Who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?” But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16

If you are fortunate, you have someone in your life on whom you can always depend for advice. You are blessed when that person is not only wise and godly, but loving and caring as well, and always willing to give you as much time as you need. Jesus is such a counselor. He came for the purpose of giving you loving, caring, perfect counsel that will carry you through life and into eternity.

This Is Promising

But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me. John 15:26
