Send Me!

Send Me!

How can I let God know that I’m available for him to use?

God’s Response

One of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. He touched my lips with it and said, “See, this coal has touched your lips. Now your guilt is removed, and your sins are forgiven.”Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?”I said, “Here I am. Send me.” Isaiah 6:6-8

If you want God to know that you’re available, tell him so. God may have to make some preparations in your heart and life—as he had to cleanse Isaiah’s lips before Isaiah could speak for him. Letting God prepare you may be difficult or even painful, but you will be ready to represent him. That’s a job you don’t want to turn down!

This Is Promising

If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. 2 Timothy 2:21
