What kind of success does God want me to have?

God’s Response

I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it. John 14:12-13

You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. John 15:16

Your greatest success will be in allowing God to carry out his plans through you. That doesn’t let you off the hook, however. What you learn at school will help you do God’s work. If you’ve been blessed with the opportunity to gain an education, take advantage of it. God will make use of your training and your experiences to make you even more fruitful for him. Have you been blessed with certain skills or talents? Thank God and use them to serve him. God chose you and created you for a purpose. Often he shows you what to do as you make use of the abilities and opportunities he sends your way. Don’t let them slip by.

This Is Promising

Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty. Ecclesiastes 12:13
