Why am I here?

God’s Response

“I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6

You are God’s child. You belong to a God who created you for a purpose, and he has plans for you that only you can fulfill. You are here to serve God with whatever time and talent he gives you, and to prepare for living with him forever. That gives your life great value, and living with that knowledge can make every day a great day!

This Is Promising

I have put my words in your mouth and hidden you safely in my hand. I stretched out the sky like a canopy and laid the foundations of the earth. I am the one who says to Israel, “You are my people!” Isaiah 51:16
