School Blues

Can God give me a better attitude toward school?

God’s Response

“Why have you brought us out of Egypt to die here in the wilderness?” they complained. “There is nothing to eat here and nothing to drink. And we hate this horrible manna!” Numbers 21:5

Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! . . . Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:4-6

This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Your outlook on life determines how you view your challenges. School is a challenge. If you see it only as a bother, you will develop an attitude of bitterness, cynicism, and carelessness that will make every day seem like a burden. If you see it as an opportunity for strengthening your character, building your future, and testing your godly convictions, then you will be able to rise above the challenges and develop a better attitude toward school. Right now God has put you here for a reason. Don’t squander the opportunities God has given you.

This Is Promising

A cheerful heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22
