No Time
No Time
My school activities leave me no time for church stuff. Is it okay to be more dedicated right now to my school activities (sports and band) than to youth group?
God’s Response
The church is his body; it is made full and complete by Christ, who fills all things everywhere with himself. Ephesians 1:23
The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12
Although sports and other interests are important, you need to set priorities so that you can attend church and be a part of a small group. If you must miss church for a time, get back to it as soon as possible so that you don’t get out of the habit of attending. As a believer, you are part of God’s family. Only by meeting together can you stay connected to that family, which is essential for growing in your faith, being accountable for your actions, and giving and receiving encouragement to stay loyal to God. The church needs you because the body of Christ is not complete unless you are there!
This Is Promising
Let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another. Hebrews 10:25
