More Faithful
More Faithful
Can I develop faithfulness?
God’s Response
Cling tightly to the LORD your God as you have done until now. For the LORD has driven out great and powerful nations for you, and no one has yet been able to defeat you. Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised. Joshua 23:8-10
To the faithful you show yourself faithful. 2 Samuel 22:26
No accounting of this money was required from the construction supervisors, because they were honest and trustworthy men. 2 Kings 12:15
Faithfulness is loyalty, honesty, and commitment. Decide that you will be loyal to your friends, that you will always tell the truth even if it means getting in trouble, and that you will keep your promises and commitments even if it means missing out on some fun. The more faithful you prove to be, the more opportunities you will be given to show your faithfulness and to handle responsibility for God and others. Someday, when God greets you at heaven’s door, he will say to you, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
This Is Promising
Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Matthew 25:21
