Massive Sins

Massive Sins

Are any sins too big to be forgiven?

God’s Response

Manasseh also sacrificed his own sons in the fire in the valley of Ben-Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and he consulted with mediums and psychics. 2 Chronicles 33:6

While in deep distress, Manasseh sought the LORD his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors. And when he prayed, the LORD listened to him and was moved by his request. 2 Chronicles 33:12-13

When it comes to the all-time big-sin list, King Manasseh has got to be near the top. He was one of the most evil kings we read about in the Old Testament. Yet when he sincerely called out to God for help, no sin was too big for God to forgive. Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is powerful enough to cover any sin. Like Manasseh, you must humble yourself, be courageous, and ask for forgiveness.

This Is Promising

This is my blood. . . . It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many. Matthew 26:28
