Living With Sin

Living with Sin

Can a person be Christian and be a homosexual?

God’s Response

The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. Romans 13:12

You are all children of the light and of the day; we don’t belong to darkness and night. 1 Thessalonians 5:5

All believers are sinners saved by grace. True Christians seek to be obedient to God by walking in the light. Since God has clearly stated that homosexuality is a sin, anyone who practices homosexuality makes the choice to sin against God, just like a person who is committing adultery. When people continually choose disobedience as a lifestyle, we may question how serious they are about their Christian faith. However, it’s good that God will be their final judge and not us—only God knows a person’s real motives and attitude toward him. Your job is not to judge people, but to love them. You should do what you know is right based on God’s Word, and let God judge those who have a different opinion. You can debate and seek the truth with others in order to discover the mind of God.

This Is Promising

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Romans 4:7
