Limitations
Limitations
Can God use an impossible situation to accomplish his will for me?
God’s Response
The LORD said to Moses, “Has my arm lost its power? Now you will see whether or not my word comes true!” Numbers 11:23
Even when there was no reason for hope, Abraham kept hoping—believing that he would become the father of many nations. For God had said to him, “That’s how many descendants you will have!” Romans 4:18
God can be trusted to keep his promise. Hebrews 10:23
Too often our own limitations cause us to doubt God’s ability to work through us. We make excuses for why we think things won’t happen instead of thinking about how they might happen, especially when we follow an almighty God! The next time you think that a promise from God is impossible, or that you are facing an impossible problem, look at the issue again from God’s perspective. Ask him to do the impossible in you. God works most powerfully through our weaknesses.
This Is Promising
God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. Hebrews 6:18
