Insecurity

I’m excited about the coming school year, but also a little scared. How can I handle my feelings of insecurity?

God’s Response

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. Ephesians 3:16-18

Whether you’re at the same school you’ve always attended or heading off to a new place, you may feel insecure and unsure of yourself. Know that wherever you go, God goes with you and helps you. Take one day at a time. Do your work, be a friend to everyone, enjoy the fun parts, and before you know it, the school year will be over.

This Is Promising

You will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. . . . Through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:19-20
