Hard Times

Life is really tough for my family right now. Does God care about our problems?

God’s Response

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Psalm 56:8

In my distress I cried out to the LORD; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. Psalm 18:6

Jesus wept. John 11:35

Whatever is causing your pain, know that God cares and sends his Holy Spirit to comfort you. Because he cares, he is always by your side, ready to give you power and the strength to cope. He has guaranteed a future in heaven with no pain, and no tear here on earth goes unnoticed. He hates the pain that sin has inflicted on our world. When he went to Lazarus’s tomb and saw the pain his death was causing, he felt sad and wept. God cares about your problems. He may not remove them now, but he does promise to help you get through them. Your suffering matters to God because you matter to God.

This Is Promising

The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. Psalm 34:17
