Where can I find the courage to deal with life’s obstacles?

God’s Response

The LORD your God . . . is with you! Deuteronomy 20:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

The more convinced you are that you can overcome an obstacle, the bolder you will be in attacking it. If you are convinced that God is going to help you overcome your obstacles, then you will be even more courageous in moving ahead. This conviction that God will help comes mostly from reading and studying God’s Word, where you’ll discover his desire and power to accomplish great things through you.

This Is Promising

Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Joshua 1:7
