How can I turn my failure into success?

God’s Response

The LORD said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid or discouraged.” Joshua 8:1

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work . . . is finished correctly. 1 Chronicles 28:20

Don’t be afraid of failing again. The only true failure is that which utterly defeats you and makes you unable to try again. Failure wins when you accept defeat and give up. Joshua was defeated at the battle of Ai. He dealt with the causes of defeat head-on, then led his army out once again into the danger of battle, and that time won a great victory. You must have the courage to face failure and take risks again. The lessons you learn from your failures will make you better able to handle similar situations in the future. If you don’t give up, yesterday’s failure will turn into tomorrow’s victory.

God’s Promise

People who cover over their sins will not prosper. But if they confess and forsake them, they will receive mercy. Proverbs 28:13
