Failure

Everyone else seems to have perfect lives; am I the only one who fails?

God’s Response

Abraham told people there that his wife, Sarah, was his sister. Genesis 20:2

Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about.” Luke 22:60

No one is exempt from failing. Even heroes of the Bible such as Abraham, Moses, David, and Peter had firsthand experiences with failure. Jesus was the only man on earth who ever led a truly perfect life, but he was God! Fortunately, failure is not fatal. It does not mean you are substandard—only human. What you learn from your failure is what really counts.
