How can I know God really loves me?

God’s Response

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:10

Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Romans 8:35

You can know for certain of God’s great love for you because he allowed his Son to die in your place, to take the punishment for your sin so that you can be free from eternal judgment. Think of it: He sent his Son to die for you so that you could live forever with him. No wonder John wrote, “This is real love.”
