How can I become stronger in my faith?

Dear brothers and sisters, whenever trouble comes your way, let it be an opportunity for joy. For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything. James 1:2-4

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. 1 Chronicles 28:20

Just because you are following God in something doesn’t make it easy. In fact, the more important a task is, the more Satan will throw up roadblocks. If you know that God is leading you in a certain direction, don’t give up just because the going gets tough. If anything, that should tell you that you are headed in the right direction. Keep moving forward boldly and your faith will be strengthened as you obey God in the daily choices of your life. When you do, you will be able to step out in stronger faith whenever God calls you.
