Dependence

How can I know that God is always with me? Should I be completely dependent on him?

God’s Response

Be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:20

I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Psalm 16:8

When you bow down before the Lord and admit your dependence on him, he will lift you up and give you honor. James 4:10

You can never be alone when you believe in Jesus, for his Spirit is always with you. And there is no one more dependable than the One who created you and knows you better than anyone else does. One of the mysteries of the Christian faith is that the more you humble yourself and depend on God, the stronger you become in character and integrity. When you are completely dependent on God, you can rely completely on his strength.
