How can I stand courageously for God?

God’s Response

I heard the LORD asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to my people? Who will go for us?” And I said, “LORD, I’ll go! Send me.” Isaiah 6:8

I searched for someone to stand in the gap . . . but I found no one. Ezekiel 22:30

When Daniel learned that the law [against praying to anyone but the king] had been signed, he went home and knelt down as usual in his upstairs room, with its windows open toward Jerusalem. He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done. Daniel 6:10

God has given you the freedom to make your own choices and it is your responsibility to make the right ones. Choose to stand up for God and his way of life. Be fiercely committed to obeying his Word no matter what, and live out the purpose he has for your life even in the face of great danger. Follow God fearlessly and serve him faithfully, like the prophets of old. Be the one to take a stand so that others will be inspired to follow.
