How can I connect with God as I read his Word?

God’s Response

When you want to build a connection with other people, you begin by learning about them—who they are, what they do for a living, and what interests they have. If you share their interests, you will have a basis for a real connection with them. God’s Word is his way of telling us about himself. By following God’s Word, you will join God in bringing about his will, and you will establish a personal connection with him.

God’s Challenge

They fill their hearts with God’s law, so they will never slip from his path. Psalm 37:31
