Reconsider Your Position

It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. Ecclesiastes 5:18

I have a real problem with following a leader who seems uncomfortable in his or her role.

Allowing for different styles and levels of experience is one thing, but some folks in leadership positions just shouldn’t be there, and they and the people around them all know it. Someone needs to do something about it, because this situation affects everyone.

God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Are you sure his plan for you includes the leadership role you’re in? Are you enjoying your work “during the short life God has given” you?

Have you accepted the plan he has for you, or have you been forced into a place you know you shouldn’t be?

Stepping away from a leadership role is one of the toughest things you’ll ever do, but it could be what God has in mind. Talk to him about it.
