In her novel Pay It Forward, Catherine Ryan Hyde explores the potential effect of a young boy who does good deeds for people and asks them to repay his kindness by doing similar good deeds for three other people.

The boy’s kindness is multiplied exponentially across the country as millions of people go out of their way to encourage each other in the way that Paul urged the Thessalonian church to do.

The book became a movie, and the country fell in love with Trevor McKinney because what he did was so unusual.

Why is it so much easier to criticize than to encourage?

As a leader, you are in a position to make a difference in the lives of people who have been placed in your care.

Imagine the effect you might have on your organization if you make a concentrated effort to follow Paul’s advice.
